Tweet Using the Chrome Address Bar

The omnibox is a API which allows you to register a keyword with Chrome’s address bar, and also it is known as Omnibox.

The Omnibox that is chrome address bar having more features than entering the URL of the website. You can add events to your calendar and can search within websites.
Here we can see one of the chrome extension which is called Chromnitweet, It is used to to post a tweet in twitter.

By the Chromnitweet, posting the tweet is very simple process. For that you need to install the chrome browser extension in you browser. After installed the chrome extension, it will be prompted to authorize your twitter account.

Then you can start tweet from the address bar by by typing tw and hit spacebar. It will automatically post your content on your Twitter status update box. You will know the process when you see the omnibox. More over this Chromnitweet will show you the count of the character you have left.

Chromnitweet is usefull for those who are looking to streamline posting links to Twitter, by doing it directly from the same window where you are viewing the post.
